among the dead, seeing
noetically
where we all are,
where we wander
like phantoms, surrounded by
ghostly shapes, the ghostly shapes of our
great factories and
office blocks
- all of which become, when seen
through the eyes of the dead
what Heidegger calls
beyng, which is indeed
the land that is forgotten
where Jesus went
where all things wait
quietly for
the Resurrection.
