Unmanned and unnerved

- a story from the 'war on terror'

by Julian Delasantellis

Creech Air Force Base, Nevada

Julian Delasantellis, 'consultant, private investor and educator in the state of Washington' was a regular contributor to the online journal Asia Times mainly writing - very entertainingly - on financial matters. He died in (I think) 2010. This short story was published in the Asia Times in December 2009. In reproducing it I may be breaking copyright but looking for him on the internet I don't get the impression that anyone is looking after his legacy. Which is a pity, because he is well worth reading.

Call of Duty
The unconquerable soul
Big meeting in the school
Fox hunting
Kids' games
A conversation with a Christian
